About Us

Why We're Different

At Overlord Aviation, flight training isn’t just a business — it’s a calling. Founded by a U.S. Air Force Master Instructor with over 17 years of experience in Special Warfare and SERE training, we bring a level of instructional precision, discipline, and purpose that’s hard to find anywhere else.

Our founder isn’t just a certified flight instructor — he holds a bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education and Development, with deep expertise in curriculum design, adult learning, and outcome-driven training. He’s spent a career teaching people how to perform under pressure, and now applies that same level of professionalism to flight instruction. He’s also an easygoing, approachable guy who believes that flying should be fun — but never sloppy.

Whether you're training for a career in aviation or chasing a lifelong dream to fly, we treat your time and goals with the same level of respect.

Why We Train Differently

Let’s be honest — the cockpit is the worst place to start teaching. At Overlord Aviation, we put in the work on the ground first, using in-depth briefings, chair-flying exercises, and scenario planning so you step into the plane already knowing what to expect.

This approach saves you time, money, and frustration — and more importantly, it builds better, safer pilots.

We don’t train by the hour. We train for proficiency. You’re not here to be a passenger in your own progress. You’re here to learn how to fly the right way, from Day One.

And we don’t just “ride along” while you build time — we instruct with purpose, we correct with clarity, and we coach with the end goal in mind: making you the most competent pilot you can be.

Built for Lifelong Pilots

Whether you're aiming for the airlines, building hours toward your ATP, or finally chasing that bucket list goal of flying your own family to the Keys — aviation demands discipline. It’s a high-reward pursuit with zero margin for carelessness.

At Overlord Aviation, we don’t cut corners — and we don’t let our students do it either. Because the pilot you become during your training will set the tone for every flight you take for the rest of your life.

We're also excited to grow into tailwheel aircraft instruction, because flying stick-and-rudder builds better hands, better judgment, and ultimately, better pilots — whether you’re landing on pavement, grass, or somewhere in between.
